| Hello to everybody from the Far East!! My name is Valentina, or Valya for short. The day is fine today, isn’t it?:))
For many people winter is associated with short cold days, long evenings when you sit on the sofa wrapped up in your blanket and stupidly staring at the screen of TV. You switch the channels automatically as there is nothing special to watch. And an unfriendly wind is always blowing straight into your face when you go along the street or it knocks at your window when: Personally I always look forward to winter coming. Firstly my favourite magic holiday New Year is in this season. Secondly, you can finally get from the upper shelf your snow-white sharpened skates and rush to the skating - rink where your friends have already been tired of waiting for you! Ice is such faultless symbiosis of both beauty and danger! In the mornings when the skating rink has just been filled, its attracting glitter invites everyone to test it. And when you go onto the ice surface you feel its smoothness, flatness of sliding and this inexpressible feeling of freedom! But you shouldn't forget about safety: you may either lose your balance and fall down or bump into someone. You do not want to break anyone’s idyll or to get a couple of bruises? :))
So I would like to find adherents who are also not indifferent to skating and who love « a wind blowing to your face ». Share your impressions about your first steps on the way to skating or simply amusing stories from personal experience. I will be glad to answer everybody!
